A Place to Connect
A hub for Loreto Normanhurst Alumnae and Community
I warmly welcome you to the Normo Network, a hub where our community can connect with each other, and extend their connection with Loreto Normanhurst.
At Loreto Normanhurst we believe that the real task of every human being is to construct a sense of the meaning of life and to develop one’s humanity. This is the true purpose of education. It is achieved through a twofold emphasis on quality learning and on quality relationships. We strive to support our current students and families in building these relationships. We also want to ensure that the quality relationships our students and parents forge at Loreto Normanhurst continue well beyond their years at the school, and that they continue to feel held by the school community throughout their lives.
The African proverb that ‘it takes a village to educate a child’ is lived out in full at Loreto Normanhurst. We hope that you all take the opportunities offered here to give back through registering to become a mentor, sharing archival material, stories or donations. This type of support helps provide the relationships that deepen the education and formation of our students and to provide the village our young people need to grow in these times.
Marina Ugonotti, Principal
