Join us on Wednesday, 14 June for our Alumnae Networking Evening, to hear Tori's inspiring story firsthand. Her journey from Loreto Normanhurst student to alumna and accomplished athlete and professional is a testament to the power of her determination and resilience.

Since graduating Year 12 and leaving Loreto in 2008, Tori has embarked on an incredible journey that is truly inspiring. Tori first started skiing with her family in 2007 and discovered Disabled Wintersport Australia, who provided her with the necessary equipment and introduced her to the world of adaptive skiing. This experience opened up a new world of possibilities for Tori, as skiing became a passion that transcended barriers.

In 2011, Tori's talent caught the attention of the Para-Alpine Development Team, and she attended her first camp overseas in Vail, Colorado. There, she honed her skills and began her career in competitive para-alpine skiing. Tori's dedication and hard work paid off, leading her to achieve remarkable podium results at various levels, including Northern Hemisphere, European, and World Cup races.

Her achievements didn't stop there. Tori proudly represented Australia as the country's first female sit skier in the Paralympic Games of 2014 and 2018. Her determination and skill led her to qualify for these prestigious events, showcasing her prowess on the international stage.

After retiring from Para-Alpine Skiing in 2020, Tori transitioned into a new role as the Head of Student Recruitment Operations at Torrens University.

Tori's experience as a successful athlete and her dedication to empowering others makes her an exceptional speaker for our upcoming Normo Networking Evening.
