Welcome to LN Archives
Loreto Normanhurst opened its doors in 1897 as "Loretto Convent Hornsby" and became the home to 15 boarders and 9 Loreto sisters. Since that time, the School gates have welcomed in thousands of "Normo" day girls (and boys) and boarders, many of whom have later returned to us as staff, parents or members of the Ex-Students' Association and the Parent Association of Loreto.
The Loreto Normanhurst Archives holds the historic and contemporary records of the School across its rich 126-year history, and is cared for by a Records Manager. Our collection includes items such as:
