Alumnae News |
Our Normo Networking Evening on 14 June is an opportunity to expand and enhance your professional network and connect with other alumnae including Isabella Codsi ('13), who will be hosting the evening.
Isabella has embarked on a remarkable journey in the technology industry, carving a path of success and advocating for greater gender diversity. Graduating in 2013, Isabella's passion for education and creating positive change led her to the realm of technology, where she has been instrumental in transforming businesses through cloud computing.
After completing an English boarding school gap year, Isabella pursued her Bachelor of Arts, focusing on History and English, while simultaneously working as a legal assistant. It was during this time that she discovered her love for education and embarked on a mission to bring about meaningful change in the technology field.
Isabella's career took an exciting turn when she joined a global cloud computing technology company, working closely with Australian businesses to unlock the potential of cloud technology in revolutionising their products and services. Recognising the power of cloud computing to dismantle the traditional barriers that have hindered women's progress in the business world, Isabella embraces her role as an opportunity to bridge the gender gap and empower women in technology.
Her work is driven by a deep-seated desire for impact, invention, and growth. Isabella firmly believes that the demand for digital skills in the Australian economy presents a tremendous opportunity to rapidly upskill women in new technologies, accelerating the rise of influential female leaders in this transformative field.
For Isabella, it is not just about her own achievements; she aspires to inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders in STEM. Drawing on her own experiences in a male-dominated industry, Isabella aims to raise awareness among students about the vast range of opportunities available to women in STEM careers. By encouraging young women to embrace modern technology and nurturing their unwavering determination to succeed, Isabella believes they can create lasting waves of change for women in STEM industries.
Isabella has been a trailblazer in the world of technology and truly an inspiration to all women. We are so proud of Isabella's achievements and determination to not only do well, but to share and encourage with women around her.
