Thank you to those who attended the Alumnae Reunion Lunch in September. It was a heartwarming and memorable event that brought together alumnae across many year groups to celebrate the enduring bonds formed during their time at Loreto Normanhurst.

The event began with a beautiful mass in the Chapel, with current students and staff providing the beautiful music. We also had ex-students participating in the mass and we thank them for volunteering to be part of it.

The school tours were a wonderful way to really reminisce and see what has changed (or not!). There were many who hadn’t been back to Loreto Normanhurst for a long time, or even since graduation, so the tours of the school, particularly of the boarding school, were thoroughly enjoyed. There were many comments that the boarding school was the same as it was 20, 30 or 40+ years ago, so it was wonderful to be able to talk about the plan for the new boarding school that is set to open in 2025. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the lunch that was beautifully set up on long tables outside the boarding school, with views of the School's gorgeous spring gardens. After a welcome from Jane Parker (‘84), President of the Ex-Students’ Association and a blessing from Sister Libby Rogerson ibvm (‘61), wonderful conversations, catch ups, reminiscing and laughter was shared.

We hope everyone who attended had a wonderful time recalling fond memories of school days and catching up with friends. We loved hosting this event for our treasured alumnae and thank you for your attendance. A sincere thanks to the Ex-Students' Association who generously contributed to funding for the event, and to all the staff and volunteers who made this an unforgettable Reunion Lunch.

Next year's Reunion Lunch will be on Saturday, 28 September 2024 so save the date and spread the word!
