Loreto Life 2023 

Look out for Loreto Life in your post boxes early in 2024. 

In keeping up with our responsibility as an ecology centered school, you will have the option of receiving a digital copy of Loreto Life. 

To opt in to receive a digital copy rather than a printed copy, email news@loretonh.nsw.edu.au.

You will only need to opt in once. Please note, we will continue to send you a printed copy of Loreto Life until you opt in for a digital version. 

 

Alumnae Achievements

Angelique Nelis (Class of 2016) 

Congratulations to alumna, Angelique Nelis on receiving the New Lawyer of the Year 2023 at the 2023 ACT Law Awards. It's inspiring to witness your commitment to diversity and community impact. 

Michelle Leonard OAM (Class of 1988) 

Congratulations to Michelle who has been announced as the AgriFutures NSW/ACT State Winner & National Runner Up.

Janet Murton (Meagher, Class of 1975)

Congratulations and well done to Janet who is the 2023 National Australian Pickleball Champion - Women over 65! The event was held early October at Blacktown and while there Janet came up against a Kirribilli ex-student who had been her rival in tennis at school!

 

Marriages 

Natalie Hannaford (Class of 1994) 

Congratulations to ex-boarder Natalie Hannaford who married Sean Colvin on Friday, 7 April at their family vineyard 'Montvalley' in the Hunter Valley. A beautiful micro wedding was celebrated over the Easter long weekend. 

Elizabeth Dobb (Class of 2013) 

Congratulations to current LN Teacher of Drama and alumna, Elizabeth Dobb for her marriage on Saturday, 1 April. 

 

Births 

Elyse Grassi (O'Sullivan, Class of 2008)

Congratulations to Elyse and her husband on the birth of their second child Sofia Grassi. 

 

Vale 

We offer our sincere sympathy to the following members of our community. 

Rosie Vlahos (Class of 2008) on the passing of her sister Ashleigh Vlahos (Class of 2006). She leaves behind her husband Chris and baby daughter Eleni. 

Stefanie Dobb (Class of 1982), Lissa Spencer (Class of 1971) and Margaret Knight (Class of 1974) on the death of their mother, Lilas Roche who passed away on Thursday, 4 May.
