Alumnae News |
We are delighted to announce the Alumnae Year Group Challenge for Bursaries will be held again in 2022!
Initiated by the 2021 Year 12 Student Bursary Committee and endorsed by the Ex-Students' Association, this is an opportunity to raise funds for our Bursary program. This program was recognised as a top three finalist for alumnae engagement campaigns at the recent national Educate Plus awards.
Whilst the priority for 2022 is raising funds for the Boarding School (Building Fund) we know that many year groups that are having reunions would like to make a gift for students in need of bursary support. We also wanted to recognise those incredible alumnae donors who have already made a gift to Bursaries this year either through Annual Giving, Music Festival, Women of Influence or the Mother Daughter Eucharist. Loreto Normanhurst alumnae are generous and we are thrilled to see 50 donors across 27 year groups contribute to bursaries.
We are also pleased to see so many alumnae commit to regular giving with monthly and annual contributions pledged. Thank you so much for choosing to continue to support Loreto Normanhurst in this way. It helps our future financial planning for bursaries when we have visibility of these pledges. If you would like to discuss setting up a regular gift, please contact Lana Huntley, Philanthropy Manager, via lhuntley@loretonh.nsw.edu.au.
The Challenge is open until 31 December 2022 for as many year groups as possible to raise at least $1,000 each for the Bursary Fund. Click here to see more.
All donations, whilst categorised by Year Group, go to the Loreto Normanhurst Bursary (Welfare Fund).
Donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
We sincerely thank you for your generosity.
