We're so proud that two of our very own Normo girls will be competing at the Tokyo Olympics in a matter of days!

Congratulations to Ellen Roberts ('09) who was selected to the Australian Olympic Softball Team. The softball team will kick off the Olympics this Wednesday, 21 July when they compete against Japan in the very first event - preceding even the Opening Ceremony! We encourage you to tune in to watch her game.

Congratulations also to Liz Clay ('12) who was selected to the Australian Athletics Team to compete in the 100m Hurdles. Liz is currently the second fastest Australian female hurdler. The qualifying round of the Women's 100m hurdles falls on Saturday 31 July between 10am and 1pm.

Back home in Australia, our staff and students will gather this Wedneday for a virtual "LN Olympics" ceremony in support, so keep an eye out on social media.

We also extend our best wishes to Kirribilli ex-student Tara Rigney ('17) who was selected for the Olympic Rowing Double Scull.

We are also extremely proud of softballer Tahli Moore ('12) who was selected to trial for Tokyo. Ellen and Tahli visited Loreto Normanhurst earlier this year to speak to our staff and students about their journeys in sport after graduating from Normo.
