Year Group Challenge - update and congratulations!

We're thrilled by the success of our Year Group Challenge so far, and grateful for the generosity of those who donated to the Bursary Program. The challenge isn't over yet, so read more here!

We are thrilled to share this update on the success so far of our Year Group Challenge. Posed by the Year 12 Student Bursary Committee at the start of the year, this challenge called each graduating class of LN alumnae to raise at least $1000 for our Bursary Program, in support of families in necessitous circumstances.

We can report that a whopping ten year groups have already reached and surpassed this $1000 target. A special mention goes out to the Class of 1971 who were the first to get there after their 50 Year Reunion in May. We would also like to acknowledge the Classes of 1983 and 1988 for each raising over $5000. An impressive total of 32 year groups have participated so far - click on this link to see how your year group is faring, and rally the troops to be the next class to cross the line!

Our particular gratitude goes to the Ex-Students' Association, who generously agreed to match $1000 for the first 50 year groups that raise $1000 or more. Their support is greatly appreciated.

We also wish our sincere thanks and admiration to all members of our community who contributed to our Annual Giving campaign. Together, you responded to the call 'Our Time is Now' and raised more than $130,000 for the Bursary Program - an astonishing achievement that will contribute to future generations of Loreto women.

The Year Group Challenge remains open until 31 October 2021, so there is still plenty of time to donate in the name of your Year Group. Which class will be the next to reach $1000?

Donations $2 and over are tax-deductible. All donations, while categorised by Year Group, go directly to the Loreto Normanhurst Bursary (Welfare) Fund.
